Tutorial #4
If you want to know how I made this icon:

This tutorial is made using Photoshop CS.
Okay I started off with this image (linked for size): click
I cropped it to 100x100 size in the area I wanted. But because this image is so dark, I duplicated the image and set that layer to screen. Then I sharpened the image.
That would leave me with this:

On top of that image, I put this gradient:

Set at Lighten, 100%.
Then, I added this gradient:

Set again at Lighten, 100%.
I then added a final gradient:

Once again set at Lighten, 100%.
I added some small black text (I used Futurist, size 2):

Set at Normal, 38%.
I then added this brush (shown on black so you can see it):

Set at Normal, 88%.
Finally, I added a thin white border, and this should be your result:

If you have any questions about this tutorial, just ask =)
